Dr. Susie McKnight, DVM
Dr.Susie McKnight is a 2014 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine who moved to Panama City from Fairhope, Alabama. She began her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel technician at sixteen and has been in the field ever since. In 2008, she and her husband, Ashley, moved to Auburn to pursue her passion of veterinary medicine. At Auburn University, Dr.McKnight was recognized for her achievement in small animal medicine, even earning the President's Award for Most Outstanding Student during her senior year of veterinary school. After graduating with honors from veterinary school, they moved back to Fairhope, Alabama, and she worked in a large, fast paced veterinary hospital until the opportunity arose for her to put her skills to use in a community where she could put down roots and grow a hospital that promotes healthy and happy animal companions.
Ashley and Susie have two little girls; Everly is a a four year old who is outgoing and loves dinosaurs and science, and Isla is a two year old who is already showing herself to be a free spirit. They also have three 4-legged children:Clyde, a ten year old fluffy kitty, Dill an eight year old boxer mix, and Cricket a five year old lab mix. In their spare time the McKnight family enjoys spending time near the water, being lazy outside, and binge watching television series. Susie and Ashley are excited to be in Panama City and are looking forward to truly becoming part of the community here.
